Captain Jack Interviews Jemma Valentine
A fan on Twitter made a request about Jemma Valentine and we got together fairly quickly! From reading her Twitter feed, I thought she was from Europe but she’s actually from north of the border. Toronto, Ontario, Canada to be exact. We talked via Skype and had a nice chat!
Captain Jack: Tell me about Jemma Valentine.
Jemma Valentine: I grew up in downtown Toronto. I think, sometimes, when people think of Canada, they think of the vast open parts of it. I grew up in the inner city. My mom had me pretty young but totally her choice. My biological father was a circus performer for years. He wasn’t around much but I think that’s where I get my entertainer side. (laughs) I have 2 younger sisters with a different father.
CJ: How old are you?
Jemma: I am almost 25.
CJ: How long have you been in the industry?
Jemma: I have been shooting for about a year and a half, since June of 2014.
CJ: You’re a self-described spinner. How tall are you?
Jemma: I don’t know if I’m totally a spinner because I’m curvy. I’m 5’2”.
CJ: Yeah, you’re a spinner.
Jemma: (laughs) OK, thank you.
CJ: When did you lose your virginity?
Jemma: When I was 15. I gave it as a Christmas present to my boyfriend. (laughs)
CJ: Did that open up the floodgates? Were you promiscuous after that?
Jemma: I was monogamous but super into the sex with my partner. I had a lot of oral sex before; I was crazy about that.
CJ: How many guys did you sleep with before porn?
Jemma: I don’t know if I can count! (laughs)
CJ: How many blowjobs did you give before porn?
Jemma: Counting is not an option! (laughs)
CJ: Were you with girls before porn?
Jemma: Yes, my first sexual experience was with a girl.
CJ: When was your first sexual experience with a girl?
Jemma: I played around with friends when I was really young but it wasn’t an actual orgasmic experience. That was probably around 14.
CJ: At what age did you learn the power of the pussy?
Jemma: (laughs) That’s a good question. I don’t know if it was a specific learning point for me. It was more so eemed like a fact about society. It didn’t seem like a realization for me, it was just something that I was aware of.
CJ: How and why did you decide to get into the adult industry?
Jemma: I dipped into it a bit when I was 18 but not with anything that was recorded. It seemed like my thing at the time. (laughs) Then I was in a relationship and went back to school and did a bunch of other stuff. I had studied acting throughout my life. I have about 12 years of theater experience and training. I never thought modeling was available to me because it’s usually tall, skinny girls on runways. I answered an ad on Craig’s List for modeling. First, it was with my clothes on then I started doing lingerie and bikini and some commercials and music videos and I freakin’ loved it. But I found that in the posing I was doing that I wanted to take my clothes off and go into the Playboy-style stuff. So I chose to get into adult modeling. There were a lot of factors that went into it.
CJ: I was looking at your pictures before, you have a nice rack. What size are they?
Jemma: Thank you! My boobs are 32 DD.
CJ: And they’re natural, right?
Jemma: Yes.
CJ: When did they start growing?
Jemma: Really early. They’ve probably been this size to their full extent since I was 15. I was really large before that, just not as big.
CJ: How did you come up with your stage name?
Jemma: My tattoo used to be 3 letters (my initials) and I wanted a name that fit them. I coveted the tattoo to make it something recognizable–the heart on my chest.
CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around. Were you intimidated? Nervous? Turned on?
Jemma: Not really nervous or intimidated. I can’t actually remember what my first scene was because I did so many recorded videos for my cam stuff. There was just so much shooting that I can’t remember what was my first official porn shoot. I love having people watch me too so it’s nicer that way.
CJ: How long did it take you to master the little tricks that girls have to do like arching, opening up and all that stuff?
Jemma: I don’t know if I know all the tricks or if I ever will. I’m always learning. Even with my mainstream stuff, I got a lot of direction. In theatre, they teach you a lot about cheating out towards the audience, projecting and that kind of thing. Jemma: No, I like maturity. It’s good. It’s more about who the person is. I think I actually prefer older men to an 18-year old who doesn’t really know what he’s doing. It’s more about the person to me than age, gender or race though.
CJ: What do you like sexually? What gets Jemma wet?
Jemma: A good connection. I like power. I like money. I like ambition. Really hot bodies, personalities. Being watched. Appreciated, feeling comfortable, desired.
CJ: You’ve mentioned power a couple of times, are you naturally submissive?
Jemma: Lifestyle wise, I’m a very independent person. I can be submissive with the right people. I don’t do super submissive scenes but by someone’s regular sexual definition, if I’m being slapped or really being thrown around, gagged intensely, etc, it has to be someone I’m comfortable with and trust. I tend to be more dominant with women and more submissive with men but it’s on a case-by-case basis. By power, I mean in terms of power in the world. Like if someone can take what’s going on around them and control it, that doesn’t necessarily mean I want them to have power over me but that turns me on.
CJ: Besides webcamming, how often do you masturbate?
Jemma: Pretty often. At least once a day.

Jemma: I like a little bit of everything. If you go through my playlist, I have a lot of hip hop and r&b, not much romantic. But in terms of events, I’m more likely to go to electronic type. I love the energy.
CJ: Do you have any favorite movies?
Jemma: I don’t really watch a ton of movies but I like comedies.
CJ: What’s your favorite food?
Jemma: I love Greek salad with chicken.
CJ: What’s the kinkiest thing you’ve ever done?
Jemma: Everything seems so normal for me, it’s hard to say what’s kinkiest.
CJ: What does the future hold? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Jemma: In 5 years is about the time I’m planning to buy a house. I plan to still be in the industry but probably more in the production and management side.
