Angela White Talks with Captain Jack
Angela White is the top adult star in the world today. She has been in so many hot scenes that it is easy to lose count. The Australian import is also one of the nicest people in adult. She always greets me with a smile whenever I see her and she always has a kind word. She is one of a kind and I’m so proud that I can call her a friend. This is our 6th interview and our first since she won the Female Performer of the Year award for the 2nd straight year! And that’s where we started this chat! (The other interviews were with Angela in 2013, 2015, Feb. 2017, Oct. 2017 and 2018.)

Captain Jack: OK, the first thing I have to ask you. Last year, part of I Am Angela was filmed in your apartment. Is your TV still in the box?
Angela White: Yup. (laughs) Nothing much has changed! I’ve just been working really hard and still have the TV in the box. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t have any distractions that way.
CJ: OK, last January, you won your second straight Female Performer of the Year award. How did that one feel?
Angela: Completely overjoyed. Completely overwhelmed. I felt honored. It’s quite an indescribable feeling, to be honest. It was almost more intense the second time. The first time, I was distracted by hosting and I couldn’t let the moment take over because I had to get back on stage and host. But, when I won this year, I didn’t have that responsibility so to have it sink in on stage was a moment I’ll treasure forever and I’ll never forget.
CJ: You’re in an exclusive club with Tori Black. Do you know her? Are you friends with her?
Angela: Yes, I’m friends with Tori, I love Tori.
CJ: I know she doesn’t shoot any more but I’d love to see you in a scene together.
Angela: Well, we did that wonderful orgy scene for her movie last year for Kayden Kross in After Dark. We won best group sex scene in that so I did get to play with her a bit in the orgy scene but it’s not quite the same as having a one-on-one. I would love to in the future. There’s a lost opportunity there. Of course, the scene would have to be “Black and White”.
CJ: I have to ask, although I think I know the answer, what was more special, the first one or the repeat?
Angela: They are both special. Winning Performer of the Year is such an incredible honor.
CJ: You went back to Australia this year. Was that your first time back in a couple of years?
Angela: Yes it was. It was amazing. Both seeing my family and my friends but just being back in that beautiful country. I had a wonderful time. I would go hiking in the morning, go to the beach in the afternoon and spend time with my loved ones at night. It had been far too long. I’m so grateful that I got the opportunity to go back and see everyone for a quick trip.
CJ: You’ve had some big projects this year. Let’s go over them chronologically from the time you filmed them. You were in Perspective directed by Bree Mills for Adult Time. That was a strong story with some great acting. How long did that take to film?
Angela: The filming itself was only 8 days. But the pre-production and post-production was a long time. Seth and I began working on our characters many months before we started filming. In fact, as soon as we got the treatment from Bree, Seth and I were getting together, running lines, going to acting coaching… So we were together for many months in advance. While the shooting itself took 8 days, the pre-production and post-production took a long time. The team at Adult Time took a long time with editing that movie and creating a score for the movie. So it was an immense undertaking.
CJ: It was a very intense performance, I saw a Tweet from Seth saying it took him a couple months to come down from the role. How did the role affect you? Were you still in that character after the movie ended?
Angela: Absolutely. During and after the movie and even, to a certain extent, before the movie. Those characters were very intense and Seth and I really took our characters seriously and we tried to become those characters. I think Seth even said, every time he plays a character, that character becomes a part of himself. I would certainly agree with him there.
CJ: Then you were also in Exposure from Digital Playground. Tell me about that one!
Angela: Yes! It was released on DigitalPlayground.com and hasn’t been released on DVD yet. That was a collaboration between myself, Digital Playground and Billy Visual. It’s a great film and I’m so proud of how that turned out. I love working with Billy Visual, he’s such a fantastic director. He always creates such a fun set. It had a great cast… Mick Blue, Ramon Nomar, Alina Lopez, Gianna Dior, Demi Sutra. A wonderful script that I actually had input on. It was really nice. I spoke to the team at Digital Playground about the kind of character that I wanted to play. I didn’t write the script but I had influence over what kind of script we were going to do. I really wanted to focus on a woman exploring her sexuality and showcasing female empowerment, and they were all on board. They wrote a script that fit what I wanted to see in a character and we executed that with Billy Visual and the help of his crew. That was a great project to work on.
CJ: In Angela Loves Women 5, you have Alina Lopez, Autumn Falls, Natalie Marx and Ana Foxxx, how do you go about choosing the women to appear with you?
Angela: I love shooting my own porn because, obviously, it gives me that chance to cast women that I’ve really been wanting to shoot with for a long time. All of those women, I’ve seen time and time again in shoots for other people and they just put so much passion and emotion into their scenes that I couldn’t wait to work with them. Ana, I had worked with before and Autumn, I obviously worked with in Dark Side. Getting the opportunity to work with them on my own production where I could really give us the freedom to shoot the way we wanted to for a girl/girl movie was really special. For example, the things I do with Autumn in this one has a very similar vibe to the threesome scene that you saw for Angela White Dark Side. Casting, for me, is always about searching for people that share the same desires as I do. The same focus on real chemistry, authentic pleasure, those are the things I look for, especially in the Angela Loves Women series.
CJ: I love how you match the lingerie with the girls in the scenes. Last time, you got away from that. Why did you go back?
Angela: It’s always been that, visually, I like to see both women matching. Aesthetically, I find it pleasing.
CJ: You were also in Drive directed by Kayden Kross for Deeper. Although you didn’t have a sex scene with her, you acted alongside Maitland Ward. I thought you held your own. How was that dynamic?
Angela: Thank you very much. Maitland is absolutely incredible and I’m so honored that I got to work with her so closely. It was really a privilege and to see someone of that caliber work her magic on the script that Kayden wrote, she’s an incredible actress and an incredible performer. I’m just so proud to have worked on that movie with her. Really, she’s an asset to have in the adult industry in general.
CJ: I think Maitland is just a super person, I’ve had a chance to talk with her a few times.
Angela: She’s genuinely a lovely person.
CJ: Some fans are clamoring that you and her must have a sex scene somewhere down the line!
Angela: (laughs) Yes please! After all that tease! We were on set together for that whole movie and we never got to kiss or fuck and I think we’re long overdue for a sex scene! I think when we finally get to fuck, it’s going to be explosive with the anticipation.
CJ: That was another intense story and you had a crying scene in it. I’ve heard mainstream actors talk about how they do that, how did you bring up the tears?
Angela: Yeah, I have to think of some sad stuff. (laughs) I’m not going to tell you what I thought of but the easiest way to cry is to think of something that truly upsets you. For me, ideally in a film, I’ll be able to cry naturally just from feeling what my character’s feeling at that moment. Really harnessing the character and what’s happening in that moment. Usually, that’s enough. But if you have trouble, there’s always a moment in everyone’s life that really affects them that they can draw upon.
CJ: You were in two orgies in that one with some fantastic women, Lena Paul, Alina Lopez, Autumn Falls, Kira Noir, Emily Willis, that had to be the best of both worlds!
Angela: Oh yes! I feel very fortunate to be involved in those scenes. It was wonderful to be asked to do some things in that movie that I haven’t done before. For example, I have never been suspended and fucked. I have done some solo stuff with Kink before where I was tied up and suspended but I have never actually been penetrated. In that final orgy scene, that was incredible because of that!
CJ: You’ve done a lot of gonzo and pretty many features. Do you prefer one to the other?
Angela: What I love is an opportunity to grow. The features allow me to grow in a different way than the gonzo scenes. I appreciate being up to do both. Obviously, I got into this industry because I wanted to explore my sexuality. When I created AGW Entertainment, my main focus was gonzo because in that all-sex sphere, I can focus on making my true fantasies come true. I’ve always loved gonzo and I’ll always love gonzo sex. But the great thing about features is that they allow me to experience my sexuality in someone else’s shoes. Because if I’m playing a character, I can feel people touch in a different way. I love both; it’s just a different experience.
CJ: Then, your masterpiece, Angela White Darkside. 6 spectacular scenes. How did that come together?
Angela: Jules and I wanted to collaborate on something for a long time. We both had the same objective; we wanted to do a showcase that was unique and we wanted to do something big. And, really, big was an understatement! With 6 scenes including a 13-guy blowbang and an 11-guy gangbang, we really did my biggest showcase ever with my biggest scenes ever. I’m very, very proud of this movie and really proud that I got to do a Dark Side showcase with Jules Jordan.
CJ: All of the teases in the movie were spectacular. I forgot to put that in my review but they were all unique, they were all special and you looked great in all of them. How did you come up with such unique teases for every scene?
Angela: We really put a lot of work into pre-production and how we wanted every outfit to be unique and different, we even thought about the colors because we didn’t want to double up on too many colors. In a showcase, it’s important that every scene be unique and different. We put a lot of energy into that. It was actually Jules’ idea to shoot in the abandoned Rock-A-Bolla waterpark. Of course, I jumped at the idea because what a unique opportunity to shoot in a place that is so different from what you see in most things. I absolutely loved shooting out there. It was quite a hike, it’s on the way to Vegas from LA and it’s actually something that I’ve passed every time I drive to AVN. It’s really cool to have driven past that and not really knowing what it is and then actually shoot a scene there!
CJ: Let’s talk about the Dredd scene. He is huge. How do you prepare for something like that?
Angela: (laughs) Actually, I have a special dildo to prepare for Dredd and that dildo only comes out when preparing for Dredd. It’s much bigger than the dildos I use to stretch for regular anal scenes. (laughs) I have a one-size-fits-all dildo that I use for most anal scenes but Dredd gets the special one. (laughs)
CJ: You had a 13-guy blowbang, sucking dick is one of your favorite things. Was your jaw sore after that?
Angela: When you’re in the moment, you don’t feel pain. When you’re so turned on and so into something, even after it ended, I didn’t have any jaw pain so I think I was fine!
CJ: And then you swallowed 16 loads from a wine glass! And it was in one gulp!
Angela: It was fine! It tasted like nothing! I compare it to an oyster. I thought it was going to be kind of disgusting but I was reveling in the idea that this was a showcase where I really got to be my darkest and my filthiest. I was ready to do something really gross and it was fine. I was really surprised, to be honest. They must have been really healthy men!
CJ: You took it down like nothing, like it was a shot of peppermint schnapps or something!
Angela: (laughs) One gulp! I like watching that movie because I’m proud of myself!
CJ: You also had a scene with Mick Blue. He’s a three-time Performer of the Year and you’re a two-time Performer of the Year but I have to talk about that snake. The tease involved a boa constrictor. How was it shooting with that?
Angela: Amazing! I absolutely loved shooting with Onyx. He was incredible… 14 feet, 40 pounds, a monster. I loved him!
CJ: The great thing was, when you put it down, when you and Mick were about to shoot the scene, he just slithered away like, ‘My job’s done here!’
Angela: Yes, it was a perfect moment. You never know what’s going to happen when you shoot with animals. The way it moved out, it allowed Mick and I to get down to the hardcore, which was wonderful.
CJ: In the BTS, towards the end of the scene with Markus Dupree and Autumn Falls, Markus was exhausted. You almost killed him!
Angela: Oh yeah! A lot of fans don’t realize that in oil scenes, it’s really hard for the male performer. It’s difficult for everybody but the male performer has the additional pressure, obviously, of staying hard and balancing the other performers’ weight. We’re slipping and sliding everywhere, they look easy and they look like fun but making it look easy and look fun is the difficult part. It’s hard when you don’t really have grip on the floor or grip on the couch. You can imagine how difficult it is to fuck really hard so Markus has to do a lot of work!
CJ: Then, you had an 11-guy gangbang. How was that? Was that cock overload?
Angela: It was amazing! It was so wonderful! I wanted to do a big gangbang like that since I got into the industry so to be able to do that was incredible! There is no such thing as cock overload! There is never too much cock for me. Never! Ever!
CJ: I’m not going to ask what’s next but for the last two years, I thought you couldn’t go any higher but you always do. So I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do in 2020.
