CJ: Is there a reason you waited so long?
Lyra: I think part of it was I wasn’t really attracted to anybody I was in high school with or from my hometown. I didn’t really like my options so I think that was part of it. And when I got to college, I figured I was in a new chapter in my life.
CJ: Is there a good story behind it?
Lyra: Actually, a little bit. It was a typical dating app sort-of hook-up with somebody at that same school. So nothing too weird or crazy there. But, at some point during it, he asked me if he could film a little bit of this. I said, ‘Yeah, whatever, sure, just don’t put it online or anything.’ I wish I had a model release form for those videos now but I guess, technically, the first time I had sex was on video.
CJ: Did he live up to his word? Did he not put them online or share them with anyone?
Lyra: Maybe he texted it to a friend but I don’t know but I never saw them online.
CJ: Your first time was in college and college is the time to experiment. Were you a little promiscuous after that?
Lyra: (laughs) Yeah, my first couple years of college, I was just a giant slut.

CJ: Why did you decide to make the jump into the adult industry?
Lyra: There are a few things. A lot of people just randomly in my life always mentioned to me that I should do porn. (laughs) So that kind of seed was placed in my subconscious. One of the things that really started getting the gears rolling was that I cammed a couple of times with this guy just for fun. Sure, to make money but it was just fun. I remember people being like, ‘oh, you should be a dancer’ and that sort of stuff. And, yes, some of the people I slept with said I should do porn.
CJ: So what was your first scene like? You were sexually experienced but it’s different with all these people around. Were you intimidated? Nervous? Turned on?

Lyra: I love sci-fi and action movies. One of my favorite movies is definitely The Matrix. I don’t know why I just love it. I tend to watch a bunch of different movies in different genres but action and sci-fi are my favorite.
CJ: What are your favorite TV shows?
Lyra: I thought Breaking Bad was great and Better Call Saul is great too. I don’t have cable so I don’t watch it as much anymore but I used to watch Jeopardy every night.
CJ: What’s your favorite food?
Lyra: Udon.
CJ: What’s your favorite dish to cook yourself?
Lyra: Pad see ew, it’s a Thai noodle dish.
