Captain Jack: Tell me about Cherry Kiss.
Cherry Kiss: I’m the first pornstar from Serbia. It was a big, big, big deal. It was hard. How I started, I finished medical school at the University at the same time I was working. My grandpa was rich but my parents made some stupid decisions. They’re good people but went crazy with the money so I took it over. I start when I was 14 to 16. I was singing and In the summertime I was working back and forth. My home city is Nis where I’m born but my family was living in Belgrade. I was always searching new jobs and there was one guy who was from Budapest and he was living in Belgrade. So this is like 3 hours by car. I was always searching new jobs and then I started doing movies in Belgrade. He told me if I go in the morning, I would make much more money. Everything was ‘yes’, ‘yes’, ‘yes’! I didn’t think twice. I have all balls but no brain. (laughs) It turned out good. When I was 18, I was doing makeup and I wanted to experience porn. I didn’t think everything through but when everything started to happen in my country, then I opened the club and opened the restaurant. It took my 6 years to rebuild my name. Everything is great with my family. I have 2 younger sisters and took care of them like my own kids. I just never gave up in what I do and here I am.
CJ: You shot in Europe for about 11 years, right?
Cherry: Altogether 13 years, Europe 11.
CJ: Before you got into porn, were you a very sexual person?
Cherry: I was always sexual and crazy. When I was younger, I didn’t have sexual education like you do here. People are sexual but everything is forbidden. CJ: You’ve made quite an impression here in the States. Last year at AVN, you won International Female Performer of the Year and, this year, you’re nominated for Female Performer of the Year! There’s not too many European girls up for the big award!
Cherry: Vote for me! I got approved for a green card last spring. I can finally go home to see my family. I didn’t get married like some people do to get the green card. I got it through my awards and my career. I’m very proud of that. And it was difficult!
CJ: Was it hard to get a green card because your career is porn?
Cherry: No, no, no. You need to collect all this stuff, it’s crazy. So many letters, the administration checks everything. It was a lot of work. But it was worth it!
CJ: What do you like sexually? What gets you wet?
